You may proceed with your normal activities, eat light meals, and take any prescribed medications as usual. During your procedure please avoid wearing clothing that has metal buckles, buttons, or zippers. (Do not use hair spray or eye makeup.) Please bring your insurance information with you along with any previous X-rays or imaging studies of the area to be examined.

Wear comfortable, metal free clothing for your exam. (Do not wear excessive make-up, bobby pins, metal devices, etc.) All patients may take medications. Some exams may include injecting contrast material in your veins. Allow approximately 1 hour for the exam.
